This Raymond Weil 5466 ST 00608 Tradition Watch
I was looking for the following in a watch:
Resistance to scratches.
Simple design, dressy classical look that would go with a suit or business casual outfit.
Attractive bracelet or supple leather band.
Quartz movement so I would not have to bother resetting the watch, and not have to pay a lot to service it every five years as you have to do with an automatic. I am not a watch collector and do not plan on reselling the watch or passing it on as an heirloom.
The best fit and finish possible, and I was not interested in diamonds, gold, or silver.
I tried several different watches on at different jewelry shops, and this was the one watch that met all my criteria.
The bracelet in particular is very high quality. The picture does not do it justice. At first I was going to get it with a leather band, but the bracelet looks much more attractive with this design, and is much more comfortable to wear. It was delivered in one day, and was brand new and looked exactly like the one I had tried on in the jewelry shop at a much lower price.
No regrets at all.

Purchased as a birthday gift for my partner and he absolutely loved it. It is stylish, simple and thin. It goes well with everything from casual to formal. I couldn't be more happier!
