Best Review on TAG Heuer CAF2110 BA0809 Aquaracer Chronograph
My future father in law wanted to give me a great present for engagement ceremony in Turkey and he decided a nice watch would be a perfect present for me.
I have been looking over places, websites to find a perfect watch for me and our budget was $1000. I bought Maurice Lacroix LC1008-SS001330 from ebay for $650 for a one day sale (currently it is sold in Amazon for $919) and when I opened the box I first loved how it looked but then the leather was not well built and also the strap did not feel comfortable, there was definitely a problem with strap. Although, I bought it for one day sale, I returned it since this watch will be something I always wanted to keep and wear.
We went to Orlando for Thanksgiving and found this lovely piece in TAG Heuer outlet in Orlando Premium Outlet. When I saw this watch I really loved it.
Feel:
It feels heavy when you wear it, also you feel the quality of the watch. The stainless steel strap looked very nice and watch clasp has a logo of TAG Heuer.
Crystal:
The sapphire crystal is scratch resistant. I saw a video on Youtube that the guy was trying to scratch it using a knife and there was not a single scratch on the crystal.
Chronograph:
I loved having the chronograph feature on this watch. It is very easy to operate by using start/stop button and reset it by using reset button. It uses more energy when you use chronograph function, however if you wear it all the time, you will have no problem with it, since it is automatic.
Accuracy:
I haven't used it for a long time so I cannot say anything for my personal experience but since this is an automatic watch, it cannot be as accurate as a quartz one. However, I've seen some reviews saying that 1-2 minutes every month which is for me acceptable for this kind of watch which you would not wear it every day.
Price:
I bought it from the TAG Heuer outlet so the price was around $2280. I have seen reviews saying that it was $1300 on amazon but I am not sure this is the same watch that they are mentioning, I have checked other websites and the cheapest one I have found was $2240 in jomashop.com. I have seen a used one on ebay and the seller was asking $1750. Based on that I am thinking my price was fair.
Overall:
I love this watch, so far I am very satisfied with the look, quality, brand and everything. You can wear this watch daily or on special occasions. Well spent money!
