I Like This TAG Heuer WAH1011 BT0717 Formula Grande
This is Tag Heuer's Formula 1 Grande Date 44mm (model: WAH1011.BT0717) and a very solid and high-quality watch I have ever worn. I have been looking for a watch that can be worn daily with style and provide a precision of +/-5s in a month (actually measured), and this one fits perfectly to my needs.
The watch features second counter on the small black dial with data display at 6 o'clock position. The dial window is sapphire crystal and very durable as I accidentally hit the window against corners several times but don't see any single scratch. I especially like the luminescent dial as the entire white dial glows in the darkness, very easy to read the hands in the night time. The watch also features water resistant to 200M with a screw-in crown, which provides more secure protection in the water. Personally, I prefer the rubber band over the metal one for this watch (same price) as the rubber band is lighter and fits better with the black turning bezel. The rubber band initially feels stiff on the wrist for several days, but once it adopts to the wrist shape, it becomes very comfortable to wear it.
My only complaint on this watch is that it misses the perpetual date so you have to adjust the date every even month, not a big deal for me. I also get only two-year warranty from Amazon (against three-years with five-year free battery exchange from an authorized dealer), but saving over $300 from the Amazon purchase was irresistible to me.
Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and recommend this watch to anyone who's looking for a high-quality sporty watch which can be worn on any occasion.

Authentic Tag Heuer. Husband loves it! The rubber band is very comfortable. It's a heavy watch and dial very visible. Super fast shipping even before Christmas. Was leary that watch may not be authentic, but had it verified by jeweler.
This clock is beautiful, very sport and of easy reading.
It is perfect and at night it is very well.
Once again Tag Heuer has designed a watch for that man on the go. The band is extremely comfortable and face is Ultra cool. This sports watch can be worn in a formal setting as well, no matter what the occasion, be prepared for people to stare at your time piece

So far, I have owned Seiko, Citizen, Casio, Timex and Tissot. Man oh man, this watch is freaking miles apart. From the craftsmanship to the solid feel of the watch, this is Class A++. Though this is a entry-level Tag, the quality is superior than the Tissot I owned. I personally love Citizen watches (especially the Skyhawk Blue angels) for their technology and quality. This TAG Heuer has nothing but time and date (not all the functions that we find in a Citizen Skyhawk, for example). But, I feel the money I paid is worth just for the Time and date (even though its not even a perpetual date, I hope TAG has atleast perpetual date so that we dont need to change the date 5 times a year, ahhh lazy lazy:-)).
I dont know if its the quailty or the brand name, may be a bit of both, this watch feels a lot better than those Citizen Skyhawks and Tissot T-races etc., Very elegant, simple, but unmistakable wrist presence. It has TAG Heuer written all over it (obviously the dial, then buckle, on the strap and even the side of the watch case). Message well sent, to people who look at the watch, that 'Hey, its a TAG' :-). The watch face glows in green (like it has some EL light or Indiglo) once u expose to light and go in dark. The entire face lights up. Its so cool to see. I hear TAG use good quailty lume. The watch face is 44mm which is the norm these days. I have looked at some other TAG Heuer watches that still has 41mm size, which I think would feel a little small and out of the time for fashion minded people.
I dont know what the profit margins for these watches are, may be huge coz its a luxury brand and now owned by LVMH. But, the quality makes u feel like its worth the money and the brand image, of course. I personally like the Strap on watches over bracelet, especially now on the TAG Heuers - Straps to me are more convenient as they weigh less and obviously no scratches like the bracelets... On top of it, particularly TAG Heuer watches has straps that has the brand name written on it, so that makes it for some bragging without bragging, if you know what I mean...:-)
Overall, I love this watch and anyone who has owned Citizens and SEIKOs or Tissots, please try the TAG next time. For under $800 (or in ebay for much less, depending on the condition), these watches are a wonderful product. Keeps time well and oozes quality all over.
Watch came promptly after ordering. Looks just like the pic. Has a very nice weight to it and a cool sport look. Great price. I saw the same watch at nordstrom's for 400 bucks more. Overall very happy
This watch oozes quality and craftmanship. I honestly believe the Formula One looks best with the rubber strap. The strap is also very thick and durable and quite possibly the most comfortable watch I have ever worn. I typically wear it as a casual watch that shows taste and style, but it goes equally as well with my black suit. Don't pass up a deal on this one.
