My Review on Cartier W31077M7 Seatimer Automatic Stainless
Finally bought this watch from Omega AD after months of research and comparison. In the shop I had to make a hard decision between the 300M, Planet Ocean with transparent caseback, and Breitling Superocean.
Planet Ocean is thick! you can't really see the thickness from the pictures until you see the actual PO and try it on your wrist. PO is more suited for casual wear (jeans would be excellent), for office wear, PO will not fit under your shirt cuff. The 300M is more versatile across office and casual wear, and I found it better suited for my wrist. The PO covered my entire wrist, too overwhelming. I prefer the bracelet of 300M to the PO bracelet too. The PO bracelet has more of glossy chain parts, hence scratches will be more apparent on the PO.
Breitling is about the same size as PO, but its bracelet has sharper edges whereas the Omegas have more rounded edges. I found the numbers (6,9) on the Breitling a bit too large and not in harmony with the overall look of the watch. Price wise, Breitling is about the same price as 300M, and is a winner if compared with PO. It was very tempting to get the Breitling as it's so much cheaper than PO for about the same watch size. But I decided to get the 300M as it suits me better.

This is my second Cartier watch. I also own the Roadster, which is nice and sporty. When adding to my collection, I wanted something rounder and dressier, something that would stand out. I made a great choice with the Pasha Seatimer. As the previous review states, it is a heavy watch, but a great size. The combination of the brushed steel sides and band compliment the polished bezel quite nicely. I also went to the Cartier mansion on Fifth Avenue here in NYC to get it sized and they were astounded at how little I had paid for it. Of course, the service was top notch. They even polished my older Roadster at no charge. You can't go wrong with the Seatimer or Cartier.
