You Must Buy This TAG Heuer CV2A10 FC6235 Automatic Chronograph

It's handsome. The face is large, and the case is thick in line with today's trend to larger and heavier watches. My prior watch was a very thin twenty five year old Raymond Weil, but the change has been easy.

Here's what I think you'll want to know:

1. This watch looks great. The details are just right. Handsomer on your wrist than in a photo. It can be had in white face, with metal band, etc, if you prefer.
2. Large face means Day/date and the second hand counter (at nine o'clock position) are easy to see.
3. Waterproof. My watch is often under gloves or at least splashed with water many times daily. There is an option for a handsome rubber strap, too.
4. The buckle adjusts on the strap so you can precisely choose your fit. It's not plus or minus one link, no jeweler required. You can adjust it anytime in seconds.
5. Amazon is not an authorized dealer. So you won't find a TAG Heuer warranty card in the box. Amazon provides their own two year warranty which covers pretty much everything. That's double TAG's one year warranty. I find it has advantages over the "authorized" deal. I am comfortable with it because Amazon is trustworthy in my experience, and they are everywhere. Not so TAG dealers. This is the trade off for the better pricing. You decide if you are comfortable with it.
6. You have a 30 day return window. This was key for me.
7. Amazon's customer service for fine watches is different. Very impressive. They call and email you, and you have a toll free number to call without the usual procedure used to get a call back from customer service.

Someone commented that Amazon's price is $600 too high. I haven't found better from a dealer one can trust. Kudos to anyone who does. Let us know!

The watch was $1420 less than retail, plus there was no sales tax. The watch is perfect. I love it. It works perfectly. This was a great deal. I now have four Tag watches . They will last forever. This one has a sapphire crystal on the face and on the back. The sapphire crystal on the back allows you to see the inner workings. Very neat. The watch was very easy to start up. I had to set it and wind it. I needed to have one link removed which was done at a local store for $8.00. This was a great buy.

Buy Online TAG Heuer Aquaracer Stainless WAN2111 BA0822

I have been looking for a quality divers watch for the last month or two. Narrowed it down to the Tag Aquaracer 2111, and the Omega Seamaster James Bond model. Being leary of purchasing online I went to a AD today and looked at these two watches and the TAG 500 meter version of the Aquaracer.

Ruled out the TAG 500 meter immediately, as it is BIG and clunky looking, who needs 500 meters when I will never go deeper then the bottom of my pool, 6ft. That narrowed it down to the Seamaster and the 300 meter TAG. Both of these are automatics (don't see any sense in buying a quartz for thousands of dollars).

To me the TAG was a better looking watch, although the Omega had a nicer bracelet. A nicer bracelet cannot justify almost twice the price over the TAG, guess I will just have to fancy myself as Jason Bourne, instead of James Bond.

The AD sold me the watch for $1800., about $350 more then Amazon, but it comes with the International Warranty, and they even threw in an additional in-house warranty covering everything (cracked crystal, water damage, broken stem etc.) on the watcb for two years also for no extra cost.

As others have stated, this watch looks 100% better then the photos.

Been checking it out for two days now against the U.S. Official Time clock, and it is only running 4 seconds fast, amazing!

As of 9/19/2012 the watch is still running only +4 seconds a day.

10/12/2012 Update, have had the watch for going on 5 months now and it is running +3 seconds fast a day. The more I look at it and compare it to a friends Omega Seamaster, the happier I am, the fit and finish is nicer, the movement less expensive to maintain, and it cost 1/2 the price!

As of 10/22/2012 the watch has now settled down to an astounding 2 seconds a day fast.

1/21/2013 Running +3 seconds a day.

3/3/2013 Running +3 seconds a day, most accurate automatic I have ever owned.

4/28/2013 Running +2 seconds a day.

However I enjoy both types of time pieces and this watch is a steal at $700. The fit and finish and quality of materials is on par with any watch, including my SeaMaster and yes even my Submariner, yet sports a price tag of a fraction of their price. Tag Heuer is no Omega or Rolex but its brand value is still quite high and this watch is an excellent proof of the craftsmanship of this luxury swiss watchmaker. If you don't need an automatic movement, want a beautiful fit and finish, sporty time piece with a great name behind it. This is your watch. My only gripe is that the box pictured is an aquaracer/ other higher end Tag model box. This watch comes with the plastic box with leather pillow. Enjoy, you won't be disapointed.

So if you are looking for a rock-solid watch with a very substantial feel, exceptional build quality, and very good accuracy, look no further. The price on Amazon was the best I found, but many brick-and-mortar dealers will also work with you on price, and you can keep a factory warranty if you so choose. But do expect to spend a least a little more going to a local authorized dealer. They've got to be able to keep their doors open and employ skilled personnel to help you. If your authorized dealer is "snooty" or does not offer anything of value to add to the experience of your watch purchase then buy it from Amazon.

I've owned my "James Bond" Automatic Mov't Omega for 9 years. I own 1 other Omega, but this one is my everyday watch. I've had no problems at all. It's never been serviced and still keeps near perfect time, gains 2 or 3 seconds every 6 or 7 days. I have had it pressure tested twice over the years. The last time was 2 years ago. Still as tight as ever. My only complaint. The rotating bezel on mine is extremely stiff and somewhat difficult to turn, and the edge bevels are not really pronounced enough to give you good grip. The only evident wear and tear on mine is typical hairline scratches on the band and clasp. The watch case, crown, and crystal still appear flawless, and this is my everyday watch. A few comments about the warranty. The Standard Manufacturer's Warranty is only 1 year, after that your own own, unless you purchase the extended Amazon Warranty. Personally, like most extended warranties, I don't think it's necessary. If the watch works when you receive it, then it will still be working a year later, 2 years later, etc. And note that the warranties do not cover accidental breakage or damage. I also feel the same way about "General Maintenance/Servicing". If it's not broke don't fix it. If it's not keeping good time, then look into getting serviced. The recommended "service intervals" are just a good way to lift some money from your pocket. "Grey Market Vendors...", I see no problem in purchasing from an internet vendor as long as you do your research and know they are reputable. You will save plenty over what you would pay in a regular store front jewelry store. I purchased mine over the internet and saved $800 over what the local jewelry stores were charging, plus the savings on sales tax.... I Buy it And I like This Baume Mercier 8485 Classima Swiss

I was in the market looking for a new watch, my first choice was the Rolex, but with the Rolex my choices were limited to the Submariner or the Milgause since all the other models I either did not seem to like or were made with gold and therefore were not an option for me, and both the Submariner and the Milgause seem like introductory Rolexes, or intended for young consumers. And so I continued to look at other brands while keeping in mind the TAG since I already own the TAG Heuer Link which is a very nice well made piece. Omega's Planet Ocean is realy a nice watch with a good dial size and I was going to go for it but I kept coming back to the Grand Carrera which I think is more elegant and has the looks of a more expensive watch, and the extra water resistance Planet Ocean provides is not that important to me since I will definetely not use these watches while swimming, not to mention diving. And then I saw Amazon's price, what a bargain !!! so I stopped looking, and now I am a happy owner of a Grand Carrera.
Oh, and by the way, excellent packaging and delivery time by Amazon.
